Class Description
Is running on a treadmill not your style? Looking for something more stimulating and exciting? Gymnastics is for the young at heart. The emphasis in this class is on 
FUN and FITNESS! Come out and give it a try...
- Class length: 60 minutes
- Evening class only
- Class size: maximum 12 participants
- Purpose: To improve overall fitness, core strength, balance, flexibility and coordination
- In-class exercises can be tailored to suit individual needs/abilities
- Each class will include: a short warm-up (locomotion and stretching); strength, power and flexibility exercises with balances and some jumps; coordination through apparatus handling (rope, hoop, ball, ribbon and scarves) and a short cool-down (stretching)
- Participants will work individually and as a group to learn and improve skills

Location: Devon Alliance Church, Highway 60 and Miquelon Avenue in Devon(directions to gym)

Because we’re trying to encourage family members of all ages to come out and join us, we will also be offering discounts to families who sign up multiple participants (from tots to grandmas and grandpas): a 10% discount will apply to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th…member of your family who registers in our recreational programs!
General class information
Participants should wear comfortable clothing that allows them to move and groove! A t-shirt and yoga pants are ideal.
Bare feet or gymnastics shoes only—no socks or tights.
Hair should be tied back and kept off the face.
Class starts promptly at 7:00pm – please be sure to arrive slightly early to be able to fully participate in warm-up (it's never to late to start good exercising habits!). Participants who are more than 10 minutes late may not be able to fully participate in class.
Apparatus is provided for ALL participants.
